After months of being homeless, Friends of the Earth have started cleaning and renovating our new office at 20 Burke St, Woolloongabba. We will be cohabiting with our friends Reverse Garbage!

We want to extend our thanks to The Wilderness Society and the Queensland Conservation Council for the use of thier offices in recent months.  

We also want to thank Friends of the Earth Australia for grant money that will help us make our new space great. Thanks also to all our volunteers that have helped so far.

YOU can help us! We need a few things to make our office liveable and enable us to provide services to the community again. We will be building a new kitchen, opening up the space and painting, painting, painting. We need a few things to make it a nice place for volunteers and other community groups that have traditionally used our space.

If you would like to help we need material donations of:

• house/internal plants
• office lounge
• painting gear: rollers, trays, brushes
• curtain materials

If you have professional trade experience we need support:

• floor finishing
• electrical
• carpentry
