Volunteer to 'Reject New Coal Power'

Clive Palmer’s Waratah Coal has applied to unleash a new climate-wrecking coal fired power station for 50 years! Even worse, it would support their delayed mega coal mine on the precious Bimblebox nature refuge in Central Queensland’s Galilee Basin.

A new coal fired power station will make it impossible for Queensland to meet its climate target of 70 per cent renewable energy by 2032. Deputy Premier Steven Miles soon has the choice to APPROVE OR REJECT Waratah Coal’s plans.
