If you want a peaceful and sustainable future, join the 5 women who are walking from Brisbane to Canberra on Saturday 13th March. The launch will start at 8am at Jagara Arts Centre, Musgrave Park Cultural Centre, 121 Cordelia Street, South Brisbane. There will be speeches, music, drama, folding of peace cranes and the women will be presented with a message stick from an indigenous representative to take to Canberra. After the formalities, we will have a morning tea and commence the walk to Canberra.

The agro-fuels campaign is guided by principles which provide the reasoning behind its objectives, strategies and tactics. Whilst not set in stone it is not expected that these principles will change greatly as the campaign progresses though a semi-regular review process will be valuable.
The Women's Peace Walk "Footprints for Peace" is leaving Brisbane on March 13 for an epic three month trek to Canberra.
They need a support vehicle to carry tents and gear for the trip.
If you want to come along on the trip, or have a car you don't mind lending for three months, please call June on 0408169414.
Organised by women, the Footprints for Peace Walk invites men to join in too.
